Our MissionThe Endowment Trust for Catholic Education is a dynamic investment that enhances the continuity of Catholic school programs in the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph. Donors to the Trust are assured that their contributions are professionally managed, invested and distributed to the Catholic schools of their choice through a perpetual investment program that protects long term financial goals of the schools and programs they designate.
Our ImpactFor 2016, the Trust distributed $655,000 to participating schools and related educational programs.
The Trust is invested in stocks and fixed income securities that are targeted to outperform in down markets and participate well in up markets.  This investment philosophy has proven successful in meeting the participating schools’ funding needs even in times of financial difficulty.
The Endowment Trust has been carefully managed for nearly three decades, beginning with an initial contribution of $1,100, and now exceeds $17,000,000. Participating Catholic schools have received millions of dollars in annual distributions to enhance their educational needs beyond their usual parish or tuition support.
